Go Green By Changing Our Lifestyle!

Our lifestyle will give some effects to the earth. If we have bad lifestyle such as use too much energy, it can damage the earth and even can increase the global warming effects such as the increase of air temperature, the melting of glacier ice, the rising volume of water in the sea, and the rising of pollution.  So, fix it by doing the green lifestyle. There are many ways that we can do to do the green lifestyles.

First, avoid using privacy vehicle. We can use the public transportation, walk, or cycling as often as possible. It can decrease the carbon monoxide gas that can broke the ozone layer and reduce the increase of temperature.

Then, unplug or turn off the electrical items when it is not in use. By doing this, we can save the use of energy. Besides, we can reduce the global warming effects, such as in the air conditioner that produces chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) that can broke the ozone layer.

Next, use the reusable device, such as shopping bag, lunch container, batteries, and many more. Reusable shopping bags require more energy to produce than common plastic shopping bags. One reusable bag requires the same amount of energy as an estimated 28 traditional plastic shopping bags or eight paper bags. So, by doing this we can save more energy and minimize the produce of waste.

Last, 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle).
- Reuse: Many items found around the home can be used for different purposes. So before we throw those items away, think about how they can be reused. For example carrier bags and twist ties, envelopes, jars and pots, newspaper, old clothes, packaging, and used wood.
- Reduce: To reduce the waste, we can do these ways:
1. Buy only what you need
2. Buy products that can be reused
3. Buy products with little packaging-Recycle : Recycling is processing used materials (waste) into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution, and water pollution. Many kind of wastes that can be recycled such as glass, paper, metal, plastic, textiles, and electronics.

Katheryne Taylor (stated about the relation between the life style and the effort to reduce the global warming), “Many people feel they have to buy a lot of organic or environmentally-friendly items to go green, but actually, one of the best ways to do it is to make green lifestyle changes that reduce energy usage and waste in general.”
